Hey guys, quick dilemma. I’ve got a car someone gave me, and somehow I lost the key—so now I need it on a car dolly or flatbedded out of this parking lot before it gets towed.
Wait — the registration’s expired, and my friend gave it to me, but it was in her father’s name. Her dad passed away, and now she’s currently unavailable to get ahold of for the title or anything like that, which is a whole mess.
I’m about two and a half miles away at my buddy’s house while I sort this out. I’m trying to acquire the $350 for the locksmith to cut the key, and yeah, I know that part sounds straightforward, but it’s not like I can just magic the money overnight.
