Look—this post is for people who’re new and trying to figure out what not to do. If you get pressured for a deposit, they’re a scammer.
And if they tell you to buy something and gift card them, yep, scammer. Wait — if they won’t talk to you on the phone, that’s another scammer.
But here’s the part that really doesn’t sit right: if someone calls and says he’s a pimp and he’s going to come kill you, he’s a scammer.
I’m saying this because US ladies who are real providers are losing way too much money to these scammers. I know it’s frustrating, and I keep coming back to the same point—phone contact and deposits are where things get shady.
