The past is history. The future is mystery. Today’s a gift, but it’s only fun if you’re not guilty and you don’t end up trying to stay up at night with unfinished business—anyway, I’m not “chatty Kathy,” so don’t call unless it’s actually important, and then yeah… say it fast.
I reply to texts & emails from 5am to 11am, Manhattan timing. I’m big on taking charge today, plan for tomorrow, and letting the rest be handled how it gets handled—Which, okay, I know sounds a little “Universe” about it, but that’s how I talk.
I’ve got an early bird list too, and it’s basically the same theme like attracts like. You’re drug & disease free, you enjoy fantastic nourishing dinners and fabulous wines & cocktails, and you’re not a complainer—you take control of what you can. That “starring role” thing is just how I cast it in my head, and it’s a little messy, like me typing it out—still counts.
And I keep it at this: reply texts & emails 5am–11am in Manhattan, and if you’ve got something important, drop it early, then move on.
